I’m Damian Lamartine — an art director, graphic designer, and photographer based in Alberta, Canada.

I create editorial design and visual systems for print and digital media where clarity matters—magazines, maps, guides, and brand experiences people return to. My work focuses on typography, layout, and storytelling that feels considered, functional, and grounded in real-world use.

With nearly two decades of experience, I bring a strong understanding of print production, publication design, and brand consistency. I enjoy projects that balance structure and creativity, especially work that lives beyond the screen.

As Art Director at RMV Publications Ltd., I lead the creative direction for WHERE Canadian Rockies, overseeing editorial layout, photography direction, branding, and production.

Photography is an integral part of my practice. I often create original imagery to support editorial stories and brand narratives, allowing photography and design to operate as a unified visual language.

I hold a Bachelor of Design from the Alberta College of Art + Design (now Alberta University of the Arts) and have worked across in-house, agency, freelance, and publishing environments.
